October 21, 2014 at 9:00 AM - SCS Administration Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Book Review "The Richest Man in Town":  Please make sure you complete the book for discussion at the end of the month.

2.  School Finance:  Review of September finance summary report.

3.  Board Meeting: Board meeting reports are due on the Thursday, November 6th for the board meeting on November 10th. 

4.  First Quarter Summary:  Administrators shared highlights of the first quarter.  We discussed the importance of sharing this with staff in their buildings.

5.  New Website:  The new district website will be ready for deployment on November 14th.  We will share this with our staff at our staff strategic planning workshop on November 26th.

6.  Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Administrators shared parent-teacher conference strategies they were going to try in October.

7.  MAPS Assessment:  Several staff members attended a MAPS Assessment Workshop at the ESU.  We will be working with those who attended the workshop to provide information to staff at their building level.

8.  Bus Drivers: We continue to be short drivers for middle school activities.  We have advertised and posted on our webpage, but, without a full-time position, it is difficult to attract drivers. 

9.  Upcoming meetings:  Maintenance and Transportation staff will meet on Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
