January 20, 2015 at 9:00 AM - SCS Administration Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Book Review:  Distribute GTY Book for February Review.  All administrators were requested to read the first 20 pages of the book.

2.  Alternative Education:  The question was raised about hiring a substitute teacher in the absence of a teacher at the alternative building.  We decided that we would cancel for this week, but would make sure we provided the necessary administrative support if we were not comfortable with the replacement.

3.  2015-16 Calendar:  Distributed 2015-16 calendar with corresponding dates to the 2014-15 school year.  Staff will be given until the end of February to make recommendations.

4.  Strategic Planning Activities:  We will be going out to Cargill on Tuesday, January 26th to conduct advisory meetings with our parents/district patrons who work at Cargill.  These sessions will be designed to get feedback on the identified priorities on the strategic plan.  We will also meet with community leaders on Monday, February 2nd to get their feedback. 

5.  Administrative Salaries/Contracts for 2015-16:  The finance committee of the board will meet on Thursday, February 5th to review 2015-16 administrative contracts.  I will meet with each of you prior to that date to review the first semester performance and evaluation.
