4. Board Committee Reports
Discussion:
Facility Committee report provided by President Mr. Tim Stopak noted that the Board had spent the past two weeks fielding comments and concerns from the public about the future of the Middle School located in Petersburg. A recommendation by the Facility committee was given that the decision again be tabled until August 12th. The board will continue to gather information, engage the public, and research the options prior to the August meeting in which the board intends to take action.

6. Public Comment
Discussion:
The public was given the opportunity to communicate thoughts, ideas and concerns to the board about the middle school. 28 patrons spoke on a variety of topics pertaining to the future of the middle school.

Discussion:
Next Regular Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday, July 15th @ 7:30 p.m. in the Boone Central High School Library.
