6.1. Boone Central Recognitions
Discussion:
Knott- I’d like to shout out all staff. From drivers to custodial/maintenance to the kitchen to the classroom. The school year can be a grind and we’ve pushed through some winter months that are tough mentally and physically. Thanks for your positive attitudes and positive approach to all that you do for our youth. Track meets literally take a village to put on. Shout out to all staff, coaches, students and community members that help with these under takings. Shout out to Jon for even making Jr High kids feel appreciated with the use of the scoreboard and tech we have at the track. Top notch experience and top notch volunteer help across the board at these events. Frey- I would like to recognize Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Paulson on their work with the musical. The kids have put in a lot of time and effort. It was a very good show, you could tell everyone put a lot of work into it. It was a lot of fun to watch. Stuhr- Quiz bowl team got first place over the weekend, congrats to all those students. Fogleman- I would like to thank all staff that has been helping get ready for prom/post prom. I know the school has been helping order and get prizes ect ready for post prom and I want to thank them for that. Rolf- Members and coaches of the Speech teams (JH & HS). They did very well! Look- I would like to recognize the Albion Education Foundation for their continued support of Boone Central Schools! This past month, they approved purchases totaling just over $72,600 for our staff and the district! There are a number of other ways they support the district and students as well. Thank you to this group for all of the support we receive! I would also like to recognize our Speech Team and all of their accomplishments this year! Mr. Sup and his assistant coaches do a phenomenal job! Larsen- All of our Substitute Teachers. The Spring of a school year is a busy time in our calendar. The individuals that agree to show up, sometimes at a moment’s notice, to allow us to continue with our regular school day are integral to our success. I appreciate their dedication to our district as well as the support they provide our students and staff. Curry- Ashley Pelster continues to be an invaluable member of our staff and a huge asset to our middle school. She does a great job of keeping track of and communicating about all the happenings in and around the building. She is a big reason for our continued success! Kayton- I’d like to recognize Angie Zoucha for all she does in the elementary office. From preparing Kindergarten Round-Up and preschool paperwork to organizing supply lists and running report cards, she keeps everything running smoothly. Spring is also a very busy time for students and staff. Angie lines up all the subs across all three buildings and we are so grateful for that! |
