6.1. Boone Central Recognitions
Discussion:
Knott- Susan Roberts and all who have helped out with the track meets. Everyone does a great job helping the kids during the events, while also having fun. Roberts- Lauren and the team in the office. I have noticed better processes have been put in place for missing credit card receipts, reimbursements, etc. They have done a great job implementing these processes with Mr. Look's support. Frey- May is beef month. Shout out to our beef sponsors and donors. Also thank you to Jordan for the work she does on the back end of things to make everything run smoothly. Stuhr- Maureen Thome. She did awesome once again with the elementary program! The way she can manage the room with those kids is amazing! Fogleman- I would like to recognize Mrs. Gaunt for all of her efforts. Recently, we completed college tours and we talked about the health program we have here and the colleges are very impressed! Rolf- All of the youth track meet student athletes and coaches. It is a good event that everyone has fun at, thank you to all who help out with it. Look- Teacher Appreciation Week took place last week, so I would like to recognize all of our staff members for everything they do! Our staff does an amazing job working with our students and each other. They have been great to work with and have helped make the transition easier for me. I would also like to recognize our spring activities coaches. It is a difficult season with all of the weather changes, busy schedules, and keeping their athletes and participants focused as we get close to the end of the school year. Great job! Larsen- I would like to recognize the Boone Central Class of 2026 who will be graduating on May 17th. They are about to finish out their high school career after many years in our district. Through participation in activities, dedication to academic success, and involvement in school and community groups, they have represented our school positively and displayed Cardinal Pride through it all. While graduating high school seems routine, the time, effort, and energy that they put into getting to this point is worth acknowledging and celebrating. I appreciate all that they have done as Cardinals and wish them the best in their future endeavors! Curry- Very grateful for all the efforts Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Paulson, Mrs. Rankin put into the musical. It was a great show! The work the kids and directors put into making this happen was impressive! Additionally, MS Concert went well! Kayton- I would like to recognize Mr. Imus. Mr. Imus has planned an exciting and fun Track & Field Day today for Preschool through 4th Grade students! The kids are looking forward to it and it is a day they’ll remember and talk about for a long time! Thanks for all you do, Mr. Imus! Perone- Mr. Look. We ran the Midstates Conference account this year, Mr. Look and Lauren both played a role in helping with this extra responsibility this year. |
