6.1. Boone Central Recognitions
Discussion:
Knott- I haven’t been in the facilities much this summer, but the facilities, drop off zone, video all look great. Things look great around here and ready to start the school year. Roberts- Thank you for those who have helped give the football field the attention it needs. Frey- I want to say thanks to Jordan and Kathy for the work they are putting into the Burger Bash and for Classen Land and Cattle for donating the beef for that. Thanks to Ed Knott family and Andy Zoucha who donated beef for August and Albion Locker for processing. Stuhr- Give a shoutout to Tori Petsche. She helps take care of our fleet. She lines things up and takes care of inspections. It takes a lot of work- thanks, Tori! Fogleman- I want to give a shout-out to Leanne Blanchard for getting schedules ready and adjusted to start the school year off right. I am sure coordinating all of that is not an easy task. Rolf- I would like to recognize everyone involved in the registration process; it is nice to have everything taken care of before school starts. Thanks to all who are involved. Look-I would like to recognize our custodial and maintenance staff for the outstanding job they did preparing our buildings for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Their teamwork, dedication, and attention to detail ensured that our facilities are ready to welcome students and staff. I appreciate their hard work and the pride they take in making Boone Central Schools a great place to learn and work. Larsen- Once again, registration went well as we prepare to kick off a new school year. I would like to recognize every staff member that played a part in organizing, conducting, and providing support during the student registration process. Their proactive work is integral to setting us up for a GREAT school year! Thanks to everyone who was a part of these processes! Curry- It took many hands to make registration go well! A special thanks to Mrs. Pelster, who helped get all the registration packets put together. We have over 90% of all necessary paperwork already completed. She does a great job answering parent questions and helping families work through all the things necessary for kids to start school. Additionally, staff members like Mrs. Kettelson, Mrs. Schriver, & Mrs. Thompson played critical roles helping students get their Chromebooks! Thank you for stepping up and helping out! Kayton- I would like to recognize and thank all of those who helped with back-to-school registration. From elementary all of the way to high school, it is a well-oiled machine. We are able to knock out paperwork, health screenings, school pictures, and so on...all before kids walk through the doors for the first day of school. Perone- AAron Blanchard has been great to work with to talk about facilities. It’s refreshing to visit with him and he gets things done in a short time frame. Logan Spence has been a great help this summer. |

Larsen- The updated drop-off area in front of the HS entrance looks great! Thanks to the BOE for making this happen. Street parking is still an option outside of designated days/times Perone - Bound is up and running, allowing us to go digital for all activity passes. Questions can be directed to Mr. Perone and the District/High School staff. The activity registrations will also move to this digital system, which will follow the student all the way through until they graduate. The messaging system will eventually all come from Bound. Communication will only be through email until the Bound communication is up and running.
