Knott- Community Engagement - A shout out to those that are responsible and participated in the Freedom Walk to the Courthouse last Friday and also a shout out to the Albion Chamber and elementary staff for the Big Wheels event held this morning. Frey- Dozler Land and Cattle provided the beef for this month and Albion Locker covered the processing. Thank you. Stuhr- Jordan Temme, Josh Majerus, Andy Imus- doing a nice job with MS football. Fun group to watch!Fogleman- I would like to recognize Mrs Blanchard for tonight’s Senior night. She puts in a lot of effort setting up different colleges and military recruits to be here. Rolf- Leanne Blanchard is great about letting the students know what needs to be done, she is a great resource and it is very much appreciated how much she helps out. Look- I would like to recognize our Teammates program. Last Wednesday was their kickoff for the year with the Mentor/Mentee welcome back breakfast. Program Director Kris Schrad, along with help from Mr. Curry and others, does a great job of finding matches for kids looking for a teammate. Thank you for what you do with this program! Larsen- Mr. Ty Heimes has done a great job as a new HS PE/Strength and Conditioning teacher on staff. I appreciate his work ethic and his ability to build positive, professional relationships with students and staff! Thanks to Mr. Heimes for all of his work so far this school year! Also, I would like to recognize Mrs. Wiese for jumping in and being willing to lead everyone in singing at the Freedom Walk at the courthouse on Friday last week. Mrs. Wiese is a team player and shared her talents with all that were in attendance at that event commemorating the 25th Anniversary of September 11th. Thank you, Mrs. Wiese! Curry- I would like to recognize Mr. Ray. Mr. Ray does a great job at building rapport with students. He asks good questions in class that get students to think about the world around them. Mr. Ray fostered meaningful discussions around the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. He is a leader among his peers. Kayton- I would like to recognize Angie Flinn. As many of us know, High Plains Community School recently had to navigate a tragic event, and Angie was asked to step in and support students and staff. It takes a very special person with unique skills and talents to walk alongside others as they grieve. We are so lucky to have Angie here in our building. Thank you, Angie, for being willing to support others during such a difficult time and for being the caring person you are! Perone- Jacob Paczosa is a pro, he is awesome with kids. He handles things at a high level, communicates well and helps keep kids safe. He makes a huge impact, his energy is high. |
