I. Call the Meeting to Order
Discussion:
The Community Meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. in the Carroll Auditorium.

I.b. Announce Open Meetings Act Posting and Location - Posted at Wayne Community Schools, Published in the Wayne Herald (10/21/2021), and online: www.wayneschools.org

I.c. Action on Absence and Roll Call

II. Community Meeting - NASB Staff
Discussion:
Marcia Herring, Nebraska Association of School Boards, facilitated the meeting. The public was given time to answer questions on achievements, challenges, and improvements of the District. Group discussion followed.
Mr. Lynn Junck left the meeting at 6:16 p.m. He returned to the meeting at 7:00 p.m. |

III. Adjournment of Community Meeting
Discussion:
The meeting was recessed at 6:45 p.m.

IV. Strategic Planning Meeting - NASB Staff
Discussion:
The Strategic Planning Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Groups were formed and discussed the Mission, Vision, and Value Statements of Wayne Community Schools.

V. Adjournment of Strategic Planning Meeting
Discussion:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. The next regular Board Meeting will be Monday, November 8, 2021, in Room 202 of the Jr/Sr High School, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
