1. Call to Order and Announce Open Meetings Act Verification
Discussion:
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM by President Steve Vyhnalek. School personnel present were Superintendent Daryl Schrunk, Principal Adrian Allen and Linda Woolsey. |

3.1. Presentation by Mrs. Lewis
Discussion:
The Board Members went to the STEM Lab set up on the stage. Dorchester is one of the recipients of the NPPD STEM Connections Lab for 2017-2018 school year. Students will have access to over 10 different STEM Lab equipment centers from Nov. 27-Dec. 8. Students will be able to use the equipment throughout the school day, but we are extending the opportunity to before/after school to allow students to use the labs. Students, both elementary and secondary, have been actively using the equipment throughout the day and evenings. She shared examples of their work. |

Mr. Allen presented: STEM Lab has been an active place for students; Elementary Fall Concert was held November 30th; December 11th will be 7-12 Christmas Concert ; Excellence Rally for 2nd quarter will be December 22nd; One-Act Play contests were held in November; Winter Moratorium will be December 23-27; Holiday Basketball Tournament is December 28 & 29 in Weeping Water. |

Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk shared information from the NASB Conference and a meeting with Senator Ebke will be held December 11th with area superintendents. |
