The meeting was called to order at 8:14pm by President Steve Vyhnalek.

Also present are Superintendent Daryl Schrunk, incoming Principal Jake Wiese and Linda Woolsey. Karma Ridpath is a virtual visitor during her presentation.

3.1. Presentation by Mrs. Ridpath
Discussion:
Mrs. Karma Ridpath presented via Zoom Title 1 policies used at Dorchester Public School. All applicable policies are located on the Dorchester school website. Mrs. Ridpath shared information on Title 1 Intervention Participation for the 2019-2020 school year. A Title 1 Peer Review may be scheduled in the 2020-2021 school year.

The Board welcomed Mr. Jake Wiese as our new PK-12 Principal.

7.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk reported on the east hallway carpet installation and roof repairs. The gym floor refinishing will begin the week of June 22nd. The Data Retreat Days for school improvement have been postponed until this fall. Students are in the school for Summer School, which started today, running June 15-19. The second week of Summer School will be held July 20-24.

Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk presented the first reading for several policies. Changes had been made by KSB School Law. Policies reviewed are #2002 - Organization of Board Officers and Check Signing, #3039 - Threat Assessment and Response, #3046 - Animals at School, #3055 - School Resource Officers, #5016 - Student Records, #5035 - Student Discipline, #5054 - Student Bullying, #6020 - Multicultural Education, #6021 - District Criteria for Selecting Evaluators to be used for Special Education Evaluations and #6033 - Restraint and Seclusion.
