7.1. Principal's Report
Discussion:
Principal Wiese presented recent work done with SEBL training, poverty training with Nancy Meyer and digital citizenship training by Karen Hasse from KSB Law. A "hold" drill was conducted with Saline County drug dogs participating. Kindergarten registration and round-up was held. The Juniors took the ACT test. Staff was given the opportunity to get their 2nd dose of the coronavirus vaccine. The high school musical "Annie" was presented this past weekend. The 3rd quarter elementary and secondary excellence rallies were held. Upcoming events include NSCAS and MAP Testing, EPAC Carnival, Prom, Spring Concerts, Athletic Banquet and Honors Night. The last day for seniors is May 7th with graduation on May 8th.

7.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Superintendent Schrunk presented a legislative update. Dorchester will be receiving ESSER II and ESSER III funding (Cares Act). 20% of the funds must be used to address learning loss. Summer School will be funded by ESSER II funds. Mr. Schrunk attended the NRCSA Spring Conference in Kearney March 25 & 26. The results from the recent safety audit were shared. There will be a staff luncheon in May (Date TBD) for service awards.
