1. Call to Order and Announce Open Meetings Act Verification
Discussion:
The regular Board meeting was called to order by President Steve Vyhnalek at 8:00 p.m. with the full board present. President Vyhnalek confirmed the advance notice to the public of the meeting and agenda. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Discussion:
Mr. Wiese reported on teacher in-service at the beginning of the year, restarting some initiatives that were put on hold last year due to the pandemic, new initiatives including partnership with Crete News, A.M. door supervision. Staff trainings including Blue River Cohort on 9/7 hosted at Dorchester featuring speaker Todd Whitaker. Patriot Day program on 9/10. Upcoming events including "Longhorn Line-Up", parent/teacher conferences, and Homecoming on Oct. 8. |

7.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Superintendent Schrunk reminded the Negotiations Committee must meet by November 1st. Nebraska Reading Improvement Act and actions DPS has taken in regards to this act. Adopt-a-door program. NASB State Education Conference - November 17-19 in Omaha.
