9. Action Items
|
||
9.1. Consider Approving the 2022-2023 School Calendar.
Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk reviewed the proposed calendar. This is an effort to find time for important work that is needing to be done. This calendar is also based on a recommendation from the External Visit Team. There are 30 early Friday outs (15 each semester) for PD. The thought is to have designated times for PD but also to help in the effort of "finding time" for other important meetings (PLC, data meetings, etc.). Friday early outs would be 2:15ish instead of 1:20 so we would still get close to a full day of school in. We would possibly need to adjust regular school days from 8:05 AM to 3:35 PM (currently 8:10 AM to 3:30 PM). No decision on the start and end time was approved at this time.
