The December meeting was called to order by President Steve Vyhnalek at 7:00 pm.

Discussion:
All Board Members present. Also, present were Superintendent Daryl Schrunk, Principal Adrian Allen and Linda Woolsey.

7.1. Principal's Report
Discussion:
Principal Allen presented the One-Act play results of 1st place at Conference and 4th place at District. The Jr. High Play "Beauty is a Beast" was presented on November 14th. Student artwork was on display at the NASB Conference in Omaha. The 6th grade class graduated from DARE on November 26th. Several students received post-season honors in football and volleyball. The High School Christmas Concert was held on December 5th. This concert was recorded on Stiv and viewed by 24 people. Mr. Allen presented walk through information from classrooms. Upcoming events are Basketball games and Wrestling Meets begin this month. The elementary concert will be held on December 16th. The 2nd semester ends on December 20th. Holiday Basketball Tournament is December 27 & 28 in Weeping Water.

7.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Superintendent Schrunk attended a meeting with Senator Brandt in Wilber this past week. Mr Schrunk explained information on possible property tax relief.

8.1. Review Board of Education Policies #5010-5013 and 5017.
Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk reviewed policies #5010 Immunizations, #5011 Physical Examinations, #5012 Basic Testing Program, #5013 Test Results and #5017 Directory Information. No changes were required.

8.2. Highlights from 2019 NASB Conference [November 20-22].
Discussion:
Mr. Schrunk presented information he gathered from the NASB Conference held November 20-22. Mr. Schrunk attended sessions on the reality of drugs and schools, property tax relief, school finance, SPED funding, mental health, EHA Report and revenue. Carol Schnell and Kelli Schweitzer also attended one day of the conference and gathered some valuable information.
