ESPD Chair shared updates. Not much new to report. The ESPD group is relying on each other for better collaboration to include creating videos, etc. Working to break down the reading improvement act to see how it relates to SPED. Beginning to plan the NASES meeting and legislative work. LB147 - looking at NCSA stance on this bill. Still some concerns in the SPED world but working adapt to

3.2.5. SRS Staff Report

Technology Director was present to share updates. Team continues to address fixes and improvement to the system. Working on ADVISER errors/bugs in the system. They are also improving their help desk experience. Have been releasing updates almost weekly. Helpdesk tickets continue to decline. They have been able to respond to tickets more quickly. Last Friday, started a series meeting with the SRS Advisory committee to go over updates/feedback in the field. Sub-set of that team are beginning to discuss how to address 504 plans in the system. Different areas where there is incomplete areas, working to put a list on the administrators front page of notifications. There is word that some districts may be leaving this summer and discussed the impact and how they can improve the communications with schools.

Russ Masco was present to share updates. February focus was mainly snippets from the January PDO. Discussion regarding the process that is being created for Rule 84 Joint Decision Making Process. Leadership/Educator Effectiveness, Continuous Improvement, and Instructional Materials are the three main action plans. Where is the data that leads us to making decisions?
