Paper Buy closed on March 14 and on March 21 we sent 268 Paper orders to Brown & Saenger in the amount of $852,084.76.  Brown & Saenger reported they received the orders via cXML without any errors.  This is $61,825.60 more than 2017 totals and still down $73,619.87 from 2016 totals.   2017 - $790,259.16  and  2016 - $925,704.63 It was noted that schools are using less paper. |

The committee reviewed sales comparisons between 2016 and 2017 It was noted that some AEPA program sales are decreasing: Impact for AEPA included Staples not being renewed (now a Special Buy), across the board most vendors were down to include CDW-G $278,000, MNJ $42,000, School Specialty $219,000 and two vendors that had increased sales to include Mackin $5,375 and WTI/Tremco $557,000. Special Buys, Food, and Custodial categories stayed about the same and Paper/Annual Buys were down $245,806.80 for the 2016-17 year. |
