Discuss, consider and take all necessary action with regard to receipt, review, and evaluation of the application materials submitted by candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools and selection of the finalist candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools, including action on the selection process to be followed by the Board of Education.

Recommended Motion(s):
that the Board go into closed session for the purposes of discussing candidates for the office of Superintendent of Schools to prevent needless injury to candidate's reputation or the reputation of another person, and for the protection of the public interest Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

6.2. Authorization and Direction to Search Firm NASB
Recommended Motion(s):
to authorize and direct the search firm NASB Leadership Search Services to: a. Inform all non-finalist candidates of the forgoing selection and express Maxwell Public School's appreciation for their interest, and, b. Inform the candidates of their selection as finalists; and schedule the date and time for each of them to be interviewed at special board meetings pursuant to the schedule adopted. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
