Discussion:
Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by publication in the Bertrand Herald, the School District's designated method for giving notice, and posting at the Loomis Public Schools, Loomis Village Office and Loomis Post Office, a copy of the Affidavit of Publication being attached to these Minutes. Notice of this meeting was given in advance to all members of the Board of Education, and a copy of their Acknowledgment of Receipt of Notice is attached to these Minutes. Availability of the Agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the notice to the members of this meeting. The President publicly stated to all in attendance that a current copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act was available for review and indicated the location of such copy in the room where the meeting was being held. All proceedings of the Board were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.

Discussion:
Policy Committee Meeting to review necessitated policy updates for School Safety and Security Standards. Committee will meet Monday, Sept. 19 at 7:45 am

Discussion:
Discussion on building addition. The board will meet on September 28th with the architect to discuss construction materials and compare costs.

Discussion on current route buses, the condition and mileage of each bus, and possible bus rebate available if a new bus is purchased.

7.1. Principal
Discussion:
Dual Credit-Mr. Johnson is offering MS Office to students. They can earn college credit as well as high school credit. They can also become certified in MS Office. Tuition will be awarded to those in the class from memorial money gifted to the school. All Juniors will take the ACT and will not take NeSA tests. ACT prep is available for our sophomores and juniors during lunch time. Mr. Dunn explained how he evaluates all teaching staff. |

Safety and Security - Audit complete, upcoming changes and requirements, policy, and time frame. Bond Refinance State School Board Conference is November 16-18. Gary would like to attend. |
