Discussion:
Budget Workshop
Scott, Farren, Denny, Luke, Mike and Kelly Were in attendance. The meeting started at 7:03. The Board Met to discuss the tax asking for the district, and how it impacted the tax payers. We discussed the pink post cards that were sent out and what the percentage on the ag land was vs. the residential properties. After the discussion, it was decided to drop the tax asking total amount for the special buildings $272,588. This leaves our total increase at $288,658 for the general fund. The board was in favor of this. We will attend the joint public hearing on the 22nd, and then meet at 7:00 am on the 23rd to approve the budget. Meeting adjourned at 7:34 |
