Discussion:  Meeting opened at 6:00 pm. Present: Karissa Roberg, Becky Crandall, Carrie Trompke, Carolyn Anderson, Gary Regelin and Nicole Hardwick

Discussion:  No parents or additional visitors were present.

Discussion:  Open House- Continue having the open house and promoting parents and students to attend and bring school supplies in advance. PreK Calendar- Calendar adjustments were a benefit to the teachers. Plan to continue with adjusted calendar. Handbook- Clarify wording for non-resident students and potty-training expectations. ECERS Evaluation- Scores were better this year than last year after a couple of adjustments were made. We received several positive comments. Space limitations resulted in lowered scores in a variety of areas.

Discussion:  Option Enrollment Letters. Letters will be sent to all non-resident PreK students explaining the option enrollment program. Discussion on PreK transportation. Discussion on Home Visits in the spring for students/parents that are uncertain about kindergarten readiness. Could use the KRT assessment to assist in decision. Discussion on additional home visits for students. This would be an opportunity to provide resources and tips for summer. Discussion on a possible policy need as required by NDE. We will contact other schools to see what policies they have in place regarding PreK programs. Review of new Rule 11 requirements. Handbook changes. A section needs to be added for parents/students living outside the Loomis School District. Discussion on future facility needs. Discussed space and possible tour of other PreK rooms. Discussion on age range and non-resident students. Discussed pros and cons and possible changes.
