7.1. Act on 2015-16 Independent Audit Report
More Information:
We attached a synopsis of the 2015-16 Audit. Nothing unusual to report as it looks like our last several. I would like to point out that in the fiscal highlights on the 3rd page, it states that in all funds we decreased revenue by $1,452,462 and disbursements were decreased by $1,770,587. This is due to refinancing of the Bond Fund in 2014-15. If you read the details of the report, this is the reason for that statement. All other numbers closely match our records. There are always a few differences due to auditing rules and regulations compared to our daily budgeting process.
Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
7.2. Discuss 2017-18 Calendar Ideas
More Information:
No hard copies to share at this point, but want to discuss some scheduling issues and ideas. The main discussion will focus on the 179 student days. In the past, we have generally been ok with total hours and that is what the State uses for accreditation purposes. We are considering turning two of our late starts into full day teacher inservice days. The 2-hour late starts have been great, but just do not always provide us with the time we need, especially before conferences. I would just like to have some general conversations at this point.

7.3. Discuss Superintendent's Evaluation Process

When making a motion to enter into Closed/Executive Session, the member making the motion should be as specific as possible as to the reason(s) for executive session. |
