Discussion:
Elementary Principal: Mrs. Hartman congratulated Violet Augustyn and Elsa Schweitzer on their accomplishments. She recognized Eagle Pride students and First Friday. She shared that Allison Glathar attended a SHAPE conference and the fourth graders participated in a field trip.
Secondary Principal: Mr. Mowinkel shared that graduation is May 12. He congratulated the Junior High Quiz Bowl Team, the speech team, the archery team, and the Key Club members on their accomplishments. He also congratulated FCCLA on their blood drive and Savannah Spahr and Seth Stutzman on being named Elks Teens of the Year. He included parent-teacher conference attendance numbers. He discussed current junior/senior high activities and pointed out upcoming activities. Director of Learning: Dr. Kubicek discussed state accountability testing and reading, math, and science assessments. Superintendent: Mr. Wingard updated the Board on Jon Carlson, the architect at Carlson West Povondra. He shared the board member candidates are running unopposed. He discussed legislative issues and meetings he attended. He pointed out upcoming NASB trainings and upcoming meetings. |

Discussion:
President Dave Welsch shared information from the Americanism Committee meeting.

Discussion:
Dr. Kubicek gave a presentation on NWEA MAP testing and shared how the district is implementing changes to instruction.

4.5. 2018-19 Student Numbers and Staffing
Discussion:
Mr. Wingard reviewed the 2018-19 elementary enrollment numbers and classroom usage.

Discussion:
Mr. Wingard presented information on property taxes and state aid compared to other districts. President Dave Welsch shared information on LB 1103 and other legislative issues.
