Mission Statement - Milford Public Schools will prepare all students to be successful citizens: Our Mission is fulfilled when all students read with comprehension, speak and write clearly, compute accurately, reason logically, understand and appreciate the fine arts, apply suitable strategies and habits of mind to solve problems, utilize technology to communicate and to understand information and behave morally.
This agenda contains a list of subjects known at the time of its distribution. Discussion:
Elementary Principal: Mrs. Hartman recognized the students that were elected for student council. She discussed the sixth grade egg drop, K-Kids, and Eagle Singers. She shared she is reading the One Word For Kids book with students.
Secondary Principal: Mr. Mowinkel recognized Abby Houk as the student body president and recognized the cross country teams' success. He discussed Homecoming, the College Fair, parent/teacher conferences, On To College ACT Prep, the new postseason format for softball, college visits, and school pictures. Director of Learning: Dr. Kubicek discussed the September 8th in-service and MAP testing for students in grades 3-10. Superintendent: Mr. Wingard included NASB's Monthly Update. He thanked Mr. Soester for his work with the cross country meet. He discussed the Spanish online program at the high school. He shared the USDA has extended the free lunches for the fall semester. He pointed out the upcoming NASB trainings and future meetings. |

In August we reported 74 students were on the list in 31 schools. The updated report shows 89 students in 35 schools. We know that 9 of these additional students are related to COVID.

The October 12th meeting conflicts with a JH football game at Lincoln Christian. Start time is scheduled for 6:15 so Jess and Tony will not be able to attend a meeting on this night. Please bring calendars so we can find an alternate date.
