6.1. Discussion and Possible Action on the Condition of the Track
More Information:
As we briefly discussed last month, Fisher track made a number of repairs and replaced a section of the track that was installed improperly. I have requested a bid for the final surface that can be installed now or in the next couple of years.
In visiting with representative of CWP Architects, they recommended we go to North Bend to examine their track as they used the same process with Fisher Track and are not planning on installing the last surface for several years like we had planned. I visited with their superintendent and they have not had areas where surface particles are rubbing off. I will set up a visit. CWP also recommended that we should consider not putting the protective surface on yet so we can see what happens with the condition of ours over the winter and through one more season. They feel we could be "hiding" some inferior spots in the surface if we put the next layer on right now. |
