The graduation date for 2021-22 is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 14th.
As we mentioned last month, the 2022 NSAA State Baseball Tournament is currently scheduled for May 14th to May 19th. If the baseball team would qualify, any senior playing baseball could miss either state baseball or graduation. Options include keeping it as is, moving graduation to Sunday, May 15th, or to Friday, May 13th. We have fielded some questions about the date as people are wanting to reserve a facility for their graduation party. Would like to discuss this and see what everyone's thoughts are on the topic. |

We have attached the rough draft of our recommended District Guiding Priorities and our recommended school Improvement process.
We have looked at several items the past few meetings and this is the latest version of it based on our external visit and all of the items we are working on currently. Our plan is to walk through this document and we will want the board to approve a version at either the May or June meeeting. I believe we are setting some bold goals that are very achievable but that will take time and will stretch our thinking while improving student learning. |

7.8. Review, Consider, and Take All Necessary Action on Completion of a Facility Study
More Information:
One of the questions the external team of visitors had was what do we have for a facility plan to handle further growth. My response is that we will add as needed. The recommendation they had was to consider a complete facility study.
I do think it is a good idea and have shared that at previous meetings as something to consider. Several conference/area schools are currently using Clark & Enersen out of Lincoln or have in the past. I know we have used CWP in the past for architects but Clark & Enersen will complete a facility study for around $10,000 and will then credit the school if they are chosen as an architect firm in the future. I would like to explore this as an option. |
