7.5. Review, Consider, and Take All Necessary Action on 2021-22 Breakfast and Lunch Prices
More Information:
Current Prices:
Elementary Breakfast - $1.40 Elementary Lunch - $2.85 7-12 Breakfast - $1.65 7-12 Lunch - $3.10 Adult Lunch - $3.75 Main Entree - $1.50 We will once again be able to offer free lunches to all students as we did in 2020-21. Even though students will receive free lunches this year, I am recommending that we increase the lunch prices by $0.05. As long as there are free lunches it will not affect families this year. I am afraid that once the free lunches are stopped at the Federal level, we will need to increase our prices. I do not want to do a large increase at that time and so that is why I am asking for the $0.05 increase. Also, I do not trust that the free lunches will continue for the complete school year.

No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.

I would like to move to $75 for a half-day, $145 for a full day, and $175 per day for a long term sub (10 or more consecutive days in one position). Our current per day rate for a 1st year teacher at 1.00 index is $204.
