Discussion:
Elementary Principal: Mrs. Hartman discussed the Socktober Drive; Red Ribbon Week presentations by Forrest Siebken and the Seward County Sheriff's Department; and the elementary walk to the North Pole to promote wellness.
Assistant Secondary Principal: Mrs. Coffey discussed college visits; ESUCC's "The Love, Learn, and Leadership Show"; activities currently taking place. Director of Learning: Dr. Kubicek discussed Jen McNally's presentation on personal wellness; NSCAS Growth, the new state assessment; the review of math programs to propose for potential adoption; and the district's work to support writing. Superintendent: Mr. Wingard shared the new EHA insurance rates. He gave an update on the vacant nursing home in town. He shared there will be a meeting with Memorial Health Care Systems, Milford Public Schools, Seward Public Schools, and Centennial Public Schools regarding mental health. He included NASB's Monthly Update. He discussed the 2022-23 base calendar, the 2021-22 calendar for March, and the need for a Preschool bus. He pointed out the upcoming NASB trainings and future meetings. |
