Discussion:
The meeting was called to order at 6:49pm.

Discussion:
The president stated that the meeting was properly published in the Phonograph Herald, and/or in 3 public places, per policy. |

1.2. Recognition of Posted Notice of the Open Meetings Law
Discussion:
The president stated that the Open Meetings Law is posted on the wall of the meeting room. |

3.1. Board to discuss staffing of Instrumental and vocal department
Discussion:
The Curriculum committee, along with the high school and elementary principals, updated the Board on the progression of events that led to the hiring of the additional part time music instructor. Due to timing and scheduling conflicts, additional music offerings were unable to be added to the curriculum for the current school year. It is anticipated that at least one additional high school music class will be offered next year, as the primary goal was to build the high school music program, and to have additional availability of teachers available to assist with extra curricular activities, such as the all school musical and all school play. It was noted that an unexpected benefit has been the addition of daily PE and Music classes for grades K-4, which has has allowed elementary teachers to have common planning and meeting time.
