Discussion:
President Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:02pm.

1.1. Recognition of Public Notice of Open Meeting
Discussion:
President Anderson noted that notice of the meeting was published in the Phonograph Herald.

1.2. Recognition of Posted Notice of the Open Meetings Law
Discussion:
President Anderson noted that the Open Meetings Law is posted on the wall of the meeting room.

3. Minutes of the Previous Regular Meetings
Discussion:
This was tabled until the next regular meeting.

4. Communications from the Public
Discussion:
There were no communications from the public at this time.

5. New Business

5.1. Discussion of the possibility of a consolidation with Elba Public School.
Discussion:
The Board discussed the possibility of consolidating with Elba. A member of the public was present to make some comments about the possibility of consolidation, including the flow of traffic from Elba to St. Paul, and the safety of students. He was in favor of the consolidation. Another member of the public expressed concern about keeping an attendance center open in Elba, due to the cost of doing so. The Board talked at length about long term and short term problems vs benefits of a possible consolidation. Additional meetings will be scheduled as information is ascertained.
