1. Meeting Called to Order and Roll Call
Discussion:
Mr. O'Daniel called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Also present were incoming board members Jason Arp and Janet Warner and McPherson & Jacobson consultants Randy Gilson and Derrick Joel.

2. Discuss and plan for the upcoming superintendent search with representatives from MacPherson and Jacobson.
Discussion:
The board of education worked with the search firm representatives to review the process that will be used to hire a new superintendent. They established upcoming meeting dates, discussed the organization of the 'Input Visit Day' which will be used to gather input from a variety of stakeholders, and the recruitment and advertisement elements of the process. The board used a consensus process to identify the qualities, skills, and characteristics for a new superintendent.
