2. Discussion of Requirements
Discussion:
Discussion of purpose of the committed and how our students are meeting the requirements. They must take the naturalization test or attend a meeting of a public body, and our students do both of these.
We also do the pledge daily, present the national anthem before each home event. |

3. Discussion of Curriculum
Discussion:
Curriculum adoption cycle addresses our curriculum. The committee reviews curriculum with teachers prior to implementation.
Multicultural is captured in our lesson plans, reports to the board of education, and present in all of our curriculum. Students evaluate primary source documents within their high school instruction. Critical Race Theory...doesn't seem to be part of the dialogue coming from NDE at this time. We understand the importance and the intent. |
