5.1. Review requirements of the Committee on American Civics
Discussion:
The members of the committee reviewed the requirements of the law 79-724. This discussion pertained to the alignment of Nebraska Revised Statute 79-724 present in D-T Curriculum Offerings. Discussion included the student participation and performance on civics portion of citizenship requirements and their attendance / participation in meeting of a public body or commemorative holiday with project, paper, or discussion of the learning experience.

5.2. Review of current D-T Social Studies Curriculum
Discussion:
Mr. Braden reviewed the D-T Approved social studies curriculum specific to the state code requirements and a grade span review of the current curriculum.
