The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

3.1. Presentation, discussion and or official action with regard to bids received on August 11, 2016, for the construction of additions and renovations to the Palmyra Junior-Senior High School building located in Palmyra, Nebraska (the “Project”).
Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Tim Ripp representing Clark Enersen reviewed the bid tab pointing out that Cheever Construction submitted the low bid. Tim reviewed the base bid and bid alternates including but not limited to flooring, data drops and concrete recommending acceptance of the bid from Cheever Construction as well as alternates identified by his report to the board. Board members had an opportunity to ask questions about the bid and bid alternates including questions about HVAC and concrete work additions on the south bus lane and west parking as well as maintenance items.

3.2. Presentation, discussion, and or official action with regard to the construction projects at Bennet Elementary and Palmyra Junior Senior High School buildings, including change orders, construction change directives and payment applications from contractors, and reports, information and recommendation by the Project Architect and Owner’s Representative.
Discussion:
Mr. Hanger thanked Rayme Fauss and Rogge General Contractors for meeting last week. Rayme Fauss of Fauss construction presented the board updated information regarding the project status at Bennet Elementary including concrete and the arrival of the pre-cast panels for the new addition with some general timing of placement. Board members had an opportunity to ask questions regarding the project and claims.
