Discussion:
Bill Eppley inquired about the fencing project on the schools south property. Board members commented that the fence could be put in as soon as possible due to the fact that current building plans will not be impacted.
Mr. Hanger will update bids, review the survey record and report in September.

Discussion:
Building administrators provided information for the Board of Education.

5.1. Superintendent Report
Discussion:
Possible meeting dates were discussed. It was agreed to hold the construction meeting on September 12 with the regular meeting to follow. Retreat dates included September 19 and 26 with a start time of 6:30 p.m.

6. Discussion Items- Committee Reports
Discussion:
Board member Steward inquired about committee meetings. Board members established September 6th with the Building Committee to meet at 5:30 p.m. and the Finance Committee at 6:30 p.m.

Discussion:
Superintendent Hanger updated the Board about a change in table of contents regarding policy 402.18 as directed by the NASB policy service.

Discussion:
Mr. Hanger pointed out that 904.02 had previously been updated. The Board reviewed the table of contents and noted the repealed policies had been identified.

The Board held significant discussion regarding policy changes to policy 201.2 opting to further review the policy and move it to a subsequent agenda.

Discussion:
Area Membership Meeting October 5 at Nebraska City. The Board asked to review availability of NASB on September 19th, and 26th for the upcoming retreat.
