3.1. Presentation, discussion and or official action regarding building construction and design decisions and determinations, Owner's representative report.
Discussion:
Owner's representative Rayme Fauss updated the Board on the projects at Bennet and Palmyra. Board members had the opportunity to ask Rayme questions regarding the construction at both facilities. At Bennet the remaining tile has been delivered and will be installed at the end of the week. Metal panels are ordered and the floor logo is to be delivered on or about August 21. The seeding contractor is on board for late August or early September. Rayme analyzed costs at Bennet with value at 1.5% of the total contract. This is very efficient as the goal is typically 2%-3% in a project of this size. At Palmyra the Fire Marshal has provided occupancy. Some items remain in a plan to bring the building into full compliance. Metal panels at the entrance are nearly in place. Inside there remains specific like flooring and paint that will be completed over time. Footings will begin to be placed later this week.
