Discussion:
At Palmyra the metal wall panels are enclosed on the stage area. The structure is virtually enclosed at this point. Concrete work continues as does the demolition of the street. The concrete crew is on site and within two weeks the major areas should be completed. Finishes are going in and the staging area is being cleaned up. The main focus continues to be the gym including HVAC, plumbing and joint sealing. It is hopeful that paint will be applied next week. Drywall has been hung on the bulkheads with the main goal being the install of gym equipment. On Monday tile will be applied to the area C restrooms in order to have the plumbing installed immediately after. In the lower level pre-trades are done and as soon as the roof is in place drywall will be installed. Substantial completion is set for the middle of July. At Bennet the main item is flooring. North American will arrive in two weeks to repair some areas where seams are an issue. Drainage at the retaining area is set to be repaired as will the drainage issue along Dogwood street. Rayme reviewed change order items for the Board members. These include a joist on the stage and along an existing wall where demolition revealed an unforeseen condition. Additional support in the stage ramp and tapered insulation in the stage roof. BOE members had an opportunity to ask Rayme questions about the projects and were invited to tour Palmyra time permitting.
