1. Call to Order

Discussion:

Board President Desh called the special work session meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

2. Announcement of the Open Meetings Act Posting

Discussion: Discussion:

Board President Desh identified the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster on the wall in the meeting room.
- Please note that no changes to the Open Meetings Act occurred during the last Legislative session and the current Open Meetings Act information will stay current until further notice.

3. Discussion about 2024-2025 Staffing

Discussion:

Discuss certified staffing projections for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Superintendent Hart presented a staffing proposal for consideration regarding the addition of certified staff members at the high school and student services personnel at the district level.
More information about this proposal will be highlighted at the Monday, February 12th, 2024 regular board meeting.
Mr. Johnson (High School Principal) and Ms. Walter (Elementary School Principal) were also in attendance during this portion of the meeting.
No action was taken during the meeting.

4. Next Regular Meeting

Discussion:

The next special board meeting (CMAR) is scheduled for Monday, February 12th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Palmyra High School in the media center.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 12th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Palmyra High School in the media center.
