February 8, 2016 at 7:30 PM - Board of Education Regular Meeting

Discussion:  Dean Engelman and Toni Landenberger's absence's were excused.

Discussion:  Paige Arnold reported on the school sponsored "Block the Door Party" that generated donated food for a local food pantry. Basketball, Speech, FBLA and FFA activities were also reported on.

Discussion:  Mr. Prososki reported on dual credit class offerings for 2016-17, changes in ELPA procedures, school improvement surveys, and the inservice schedule on February 12.

Discussion:  Mr. Prososki reported on technology repairs.

Discussion:  Discussion was held about the possibility of removing the wood fence around the football field in Diller. The Board had no interest in it being removed and would like it repaired as needed.

Discussion:  Mr. Meyerle reported that there will need to be an early dismissal on March 21, 2016 to accommodate hosting the Pioneer Conference JH Quiz Bowl Tournament.

Discussion:  The Board discussed the possible fitness center project and accepted comment from Brett Wells on the project. With two Board members absent, the Board did not want to take any action. The Board will further review bids and schedule a special meeting in the near future if needed.

Discussion:  No action taken

Discussion:  Mr. Meyerle reported that he would need to know who will be attending the annual NRCSA convention in Kearney March 16-18.

Discussion:  President Stohs adjourned the meeting at 8:40pm. The next regular schedule meeting is March 14, 2016 at 7:30pm at the elementary school in Diller.
