2.1. Principal's Report
Discussion:
Dr. Prososki provided a written report. He noted that Zac Lauenstein, from the Beatrice Police Department, will present to all grade 7-12 students on September 7 at 2:30p.m. on the dangers of drug and alcohol use by students.
He also gave a timeline for the release of NeSA data.

Discussion:
Dr. Prososki noted that student iPads and laptops are updated.
He also noted that six smart boards were installed at the elementary school this summer.

Discussion:
The Board discussed making exceptions to the criteria for those eligible for fitness center memberships. They want to monitor for 6 months to a year before making any exceptions to membership criteria.

Discussion:
Mr. Meyerle provided information on budget planning. Detail will be provided to the Board at the planning meeting on August 24 once the county valuations are available.

Discussion:
President Stohs adjourned the meeting at 8:15pm.
A Special Meeting on Budget Planning will be held at 7:30pm August 24, 2016 at the High School Media Center in Odell. The Board of Education will usually adhere to the sequence of the published agenda, but reserves the right to adjust the order of items if necessary and may elect to amend the agenda as deemed necessary.
The next Regular Board meeting is scheduled for 7:30pm, September 12, 2016 at the Elementary Media Center in Diller. The 2016-2017 Budget Hearing and Tax Request Hearing are scheduled for 7:20pm and 7:25pm on September 12. The Board of Education will usually adhere to the sequence of the published agenda, but reserves the right to adjust the order of items if necessary and may elect to amend the agenda as deemed necessary.
