Discussion:
Paul Kostal's and Kolin Kotas' absences were excused.

1.4. Accept public comment on Americanism
Discussion:
Comment was received from Mrs. Becky Sohl. She stated that she was pleased with the school and what they do to support Americanism. Superintendent Meyerle thanked her for her attendance and explained that the Board received public comment at this annual meeting to satisfy that part of LB 399, and that there were no changes at school regarding Americanism. Superintendent Meyerle explained what other things the school does to fulfill its responsibilities of LB 399

2. Financial Items

2.1. Review, consider, and take action on Master Governmental Lease-Purchase Agreement Number 0007689 and Supplement Number 007689-001 with Well's Fargo Bank for the lease-purchase of school buses.

2.2. Approve Bus purchase
Discussion:
Superintendent Meyerle reported that he would like to have authorization for a bus purchase when needed this year. The school's 71 passenger bus is high in miles and he would like to trade it or sell it. Inventory is an issue nationwide. Superintendent Meyerle will search for a suitable replacement.

Discussion:
Superintendent Meyerle gave the Board an overview of the 2021-22 budget.

Discussion:
Vice President Landenberger adjourned the meeting at 7:30pm.
The next Regular Board meeting is scheduled to follow the Budget and Tax Request Hearings on September 15, 2021 at the Elementary School Media Center in Diller. The 2021-2022 Budget Hearing is scheduled for 7:00pm and Tax Request Hearing will follow the Budget Hearing on September 15. The regular meeting will follow the Tax Request Hearing. The Board of Education will usually adhere to the sequence of the published agenda, but reserves the right to adjust the order of items if necessary and may elect to amend the agenda as deemed necessary. |
