Discussion:
Friday during pep rallly .. no person in office and no way to get into the office to pick up student. outer door locked and upset. Jennifer Anderson present to discuss the heating issues of the west end of the school ... heating problem... who will pay for the cost of the problems. Concerns about the who will be paying for this problem instead of the taxpayer. The most important concern of the heating problem is to get heat to the classroom and then we will find out who will pay for the repairs. Transfer students to other school are telling every one that where they have gone is really fun... upbeat ... and they love their new school . What can we do about this problem to make the moral better and get more upbeat for the school environment. No negative comments heard in the school office. Question to leave full time preschool ? Will SEM have half time preschool and then p.m. pay for preschool by parents . those who want them to stay ... |

4.1. SEM Student presentation from Digital Citizenship Workshop at ESU 10
Discussion:
Digital Citizenship workshop was reported on by Erica Eacker and Lindsay Dittmar what they learned . Twitter account set up by Mrs. Trampe and so the kids could double check practice and assignments. Discuss with staff and workshops staff has had. Common Sense will get all curriculum incorporated with repetition would be more helpful.

Discussion:
Mr Beavers art students explained to the board of the mural project they did in competition at Hastings college.

Rationale:
For the past several years Mr. Burden has been the Representative for SEM at the State Conference, it would be my recommendation that we continue with him in this duty.

8.1. Review of Emergency Safety Manual
Discussion:
New areas get done changes will be done with the safety manual. Safety Alicap Insurance man and the Dawson County Sheriff will be present at a meeting to sturcture the safety manual.

Discussion:
Scores from state wide assessment were discussed with the School Board. Principal Schmidt briefly explained to the board

Teachers meeting will discuss with the teachers the importance of the teacher making the phone call home to parents.
