Discussion:  The regular meeting of the School District 145 Board of Education was called to order on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 7:01 P.M. at the Central Office Board Room, 14511 Heywood Street, Waverly, Nebraska.

Discussion:  Superintendent Dr. Bill Heimann reported to the Board of Education on ALICAP Safety Award, construction update, fall sports practices, new teacher orientation, all staff breakfast, first day of school for students, Clifton Strengths Summit, and Nebraska Department of Education and Nebraska Council of School Administrator's Conference.

Discussion:  Policy Committee Chair Sedivy reported to the Board of Education on the committee meeting held during July. Building, Grounds, and Transportation Committee Chair Retzlaff reported to the Board of Education on the construction walk through held prior to the board meeting. Board members reported on training attended during July.

Discussion:  Patrons addressed the Board of Education on volunteering to coach athletics at the middle school level.

Discussion:  Approved the minutes of the Board of Education Regular Meeting on July 5, 2016.

Discussion:  Approved the resignation of Carmen Hyde, Paraprofessional, Waverly High School, effective August 1, 2016.

Discussion:  Designate Horizon Bank, First State Bank, Eagle State Bank and Nebraska Liquid Asset Fund as depositories for school district funds.
