1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
Discussion:
President Gould called the meeting to order at 8:40 AM and the Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Discussion:
Roll Call was taken with Lori Springer being absent.

Discussion:
Open Meeting Laws were followed.

4.1. Resignation of Board Member - Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action to accept the resignation from the Board of Education of Board member Lori Springer, and adopt a procedure for the appointment of a new member to the Board of Education to fill the vacancy thereon created by the resignation of Lori Springer

Discussion:
Action to be taken on Ward 4 Board Member Lori Springer’s letter of resignation. Moved by Blanchard and seconded by Burklund that the resignation of Lori Springer from the Board of Education Ward 4 is accepted effective this 25th day of June, 2021. RCV 5-0. Motion carried.
Motion made by Gould, second by Lange to appoint Cathy Burklund as Secretary of the Board of Education. RCV 5-0. Motion carried. The application process for interested parties living within Ward 4 boundaries was discussed. Interested parties may call the Superintendent’s Office for an application. These applications are due back to the Superintendent’s Office no later than June 11, 2021. A review committee of Blanchard, Burklund and Lange will meet prior to the regular June BOE meeting to review applications and select one for board approval. |

4.2. Interview Search Firms - Selection of Search Firm
Discussion:
A Zoom meeting was held with four search firms interested in working with the district to provide candidate selection processes for both the interim and permanent superintendent positions. Discussion was held and a motion to hire Grundmeyer Leader Services was made by Blanchard, second by Gould. RCV 5-0. Motion carried.
