1. Call Public Hearing to Order
Discussion:
Final Tax Request Hearing was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Matt Sullivan.

2. Purpose of the special hearing is for hearing support, position, criticism, suggestions or observations of patrons relating to the 2018-2019 Final Tax Request

3. Review of Final Tax Request
Discussion:
Tax request for 2018-2019 is: General Fund - $5,010,481, Bond Fund - $555,555, Special Building Fund - $518,868, Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund - $30,303 Total Tax Asking - $6,115,209
Mr. Kobza discussed the proposal to move $300,000 per year from the Cooperative Fund to the General Fund over the next several years, then budget for a transfer from the General Fund to the Special Building Fund. This will allow the levy to remain constant for 2018-19 even though valuations have gone down, as well as allow the school to increase the Special Building Fund balance for future projects. |
