2.1. Mask requirement
Discussion:
Mr. Kobza shared information on COVID-19 statistics within the South Heartland Health District, Nuckolls County and Superior Public Schools. He also shared updated CDC guidelines on social distancing and masking. He explained the quarantine guidelines following exposure to a positive COVID case. The Operational Zones plan was reviewed, Superior Schools is currently in the Green Operational Zone. Megan McMeen shared advice from the medical profession that masking remain required and the rationale behind that recommendation. She shared that 71% of the current staff have been vaccinated. Her recommendation would be to continue masking. Board discussion followed. No action was taken with the item to be placed on the April 12, 2021 regular meeting agenda.
