Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing gave a report on Claims, noting that our bills for heating are way down comparitively. Mr. Hoesing wants to do a comparitive study on our new facilities when the year is done and compare to old facilities on potential cost savings for heating and cooling.

5.1. Update COVID-19 Protocols

Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing and Mr. Anderson gave updates on COVID-19 protocols for our building. Mr. Hoesing made statements that when Knox county moves out of orange, then he would like to move into yellow. Mr. Anderson gave protocols on how he deals with the health department when they call about potential cases in the building, and cautioned about going without masks, as there may be a potential for large amounts of quarantined kids.

6.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing presented his superintendent report, discussing the end of the year budget happenings, January BOE meeting changes, and new board members coming on, and their workign through the NASB modules. He also thanked Dan Story and Otto Woockman for their years of service to the board.

Discussion:
Mr. Anderson gave his princicpal report, highlighting the WHIP program, which was already discussed in the action items.

6.3. Activities Director
Discussion:
Mr. Conn gave his AD report, highlighting a state championship for the Play Production cast, and the start of the winter sports season, as well as new changes underway for COVID-19 game protocols enacted by the NSAA. He also discussed ending the Cooperative agreement in Golf for Wausa-Bloomfield, highlighting that according to the coaching staff, both schools will have a better opportunity competing in Class D than in class C. Mr. Haberer (golf coach) told Mr. Conn and Mr. Hoesing that he would be willing to coach both schools' kids in practice, so it wouldn't hurt either school.

7.1. Cooperative Agreement (Golf)
Discussion:
Interlocal Agreement in NSAAA golf-contract states that if there is no renewal of agreement, then it dies.

7.2. Discuss Updating Drug Policies/Protocols
Discussion:
Mr. Anderson talked about the need for an additional tougher drug program for WPS for the students, doing a 90 day hair follicle test in leiu of a 14 day urine test. He provided the board with information and the board will vote on it in January.
