5.1. Discuss, consider, and make a motion and a second to approve MyKnoxCountyNews (Wausa Gazette) as the primary paper of record for the Wausa Public School District.

5.2. Discuss, consider, and make a motion and a second for Wausa Public Schools to enter into a feasibility study with Osmond Community Schools, hiring NRCSA to lead the feasibility study; and committee members from both districts will meet together with NRCSA to begin the process.

6.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing discussed teacher work days, items on building and grounds that need to be updated and addressed. The buses are serviced and ready to go for the school year. He also discussed the August meeting and items to address. He also touched on the September meeting and gave a preview of items to discuss for that meeting.

6.2. Principals
Discussion:
Mr. Anderson discussed Administrator days and the informative meetings they attended. Also discussed cell phone policy and other schools banning them and al the details discussed with school lawyers. This will run thru Rule10. He also discussed the staff inservie with new teachers, new students we have gained and the upcoming middle school orientation. WHIP will also be starting for seniors in September. Discussed students enrolled in dual credit classes, 6 students going to FFA.
Mrs Heimes discussed the new elementary teachers, meeting with Preschool and Kindergarten to make sure we are set to go to meet needs of all students. Also discussed the paras we have and certain duties. She also discussed the mental health grant in the works to fund student behavioral needs. Mrs Heimes also discussed the NDE findings that we are in need of improvement in special education. They are working with the ESU on steps/procedures for improvement. |

Discussion:
Mr Conn was not present so Mr Anderson read over the AD report. Discussed all sports and coaches are preparing teams to go.
