Discussion:
Liam Parker, Wasenek board member, spoke to the board about corrections of errors for next year. The placement of road detours and closures was a concern that was brought up by the Board of Trustees as well as KVFD Chief Brandon Bockstadter. Another concern was the closure of Smith & Kenesaw Blvd. Liam said that they will look into different routes to take to make the streets safe during the weekend. Road Closures will be posted ahead of the event so that the Residents know the routes for the weekend. Parker said they learned alot this year and will work on making it more efficient for next year. Also, Liam let the board know that the Wasenek committee will be the ones to continue the upkeep of the new sand volleyball area to insure it can be used in the following years.

11)a)1. Discussion: KVFD concerns about location of Wasenek events
Discussion:
KVFD Fire Chief Brandon Bockstadter voiced his concern about the use of the Fire Hall during Wasenek Weekend. He Stats the Fire Trucks and emergency vehicles need to be parked in front of the Hall at all times when the building is in use. Chief Bockstadter is also concerned that the parking area is overly crowded and unaccessible for our emergency personnel if a call comes in. Another concern of his is about the possible new auditorium and lack of parking which will roll over in front of the Firehall as well. Chair Kroos suggested he attends the Town Hall meeting on August 27th to voice his concerns.

||
11)b) Discussion-Approve/Deny :Kenesaw Pool Updates
Discussion:
Pool Manager Kroos came to discuss the end of the season and update on the status of the pool. Kroos made it clear the amount of work that will need to be done in future years on the existing pool. Next year the pool will need to be budgeted a larger amount for maintenance of repairs. Items that will need to be budgeted for will be new lifeguard stands, toilets, repair to the diving board, and many more issues. Another concern is the motor has been rebuilt twice already, and it will not be able to be rebuilt again. Kroos and the pool committee went to several pools in the area and came back with several ideas for the possible new build. Would love to start moving the process along sooner, then later the pool doesn't have much life in it. Motion Tabled |

11)g) Discussion-Approve/Deny: Follow up on residence at 105 N DOANE AVE About Vicious Dog Ordinance 6-116, and ESA paperwork
Discussion:
Clerk Randall contacted Village attorney Shon Leiske about the ESA paperwork residents brought in. Shon states Emotional Support Animals are NOT covered by the ADA. 1) A service animal is a trained dog that has a very specific job to do for the dog’s handler which requires the dog to take some action to actively assist the handler, like a seeing eye dog. 2) An ESA doesn’t require any training and doesn’t have a specific job other than being itself. It just so happens that the dog, in this case, just being a normal dog, gives its owner comfort in some way. It is therefore still covered by our ordinance. Shon will get in contact with residents.
