1. 7:00  The Mayor will declare the meeting open. 

2. 7:01  The City Clerk will call roll.  

3. 7:02  The February 10th regular meeting minutes will be presented for consideration and possible action.

4. 7:05  The treasurer’s report for February 2026 will be presented for consideration and possible action. 

5. 7:10  Public Comments may be heard.

6. 7:15  Consideration and possible action for notice of award from contractor bids for New Moon Community Theater interior demo will be held.

7. 7:25  Discussion and possible action for the sale of the Neligh Fire 1984 Ford Econoline Van will be held.

8. 7:40  Consideration and possible action for notification to LARM, its members and the Department of Insurance to bid the city insurance for possibly October 1, 2026 will be held.

9. 7:50  Resolution 2026-3 for increasing the city sales tax from 1% to 1.5% for public improvements will be presented for consideration and possible action.

10. 8:00  Consideration and possible action for update on dangerous buildings will be held.

11. 8:10  Consideration and possible action for Resolution 2026-4 updating the 2025-2026 Schedule of Fees will be presented.

12. 8:15  Appointments will be made for the following: Board of Adjustment 1 member to fill unexpired term to June 2027, Planning Commission 1 member to fill unexpired term to June 2028, and LB840 Loan Review Committee 2 members with one to fill unexpired term to December 2027 and one to fill unexpired term to May 2027.

13. 8:20  The Economic Development report will be presented.

14. 8:30  The Police Report will be heard.   

15. 8:40  The City Supt.’s report will be presented.

15.a. Discussion and possible action for options to reduce speed on the road south of Pioneer Homes will be held.

15.b. Consideration and possible action for agreement with the Nebraska Historical Society for the future care and maintenance of a John D. Neligh statue located at the Neligh Mill will be held.

15.c. Consideration and possible action for wages for swimming pool staff as recommended by the Park Board will be held.

16. 8:55  Consideration and possible action for proposed updates to the Firm Electric Service Contract and Amendment incorporating the new General Power Contract Provisions with Western Area Power Administration will be held.

17. 9:00  The New Moon Theater Liaison report will be presented.

18. 9:05  Bills will be presented for approval.

18.a. Discussion and possible action for Blackstrap invoices for weigh tickets and deicer will be held.

19. 9:15  The Mayor will call for adjournment.
