There is a NASB training in Kearney in June, if anyone is interested, Mr. Spencer will get registrations completed.

IX. Principals Report

Discussion:
The Principal's report was given by Mr. Seth Ford about MAPS Testing, ACT test results for our Seniors are above the state average. The science classes attended a field trip to Kingsley dam and the fall 2021 class signup is nearly complete. The district meets for track and golf season are next week. Community Service Learning Project in Brule on April 30, NHS Trash Pickup, Prom, JH Music Program with Awards night, Work Based Learning, teacher in-service pertaining to MAPS results and attendance committee meetings were discussed. Thank you to Denise and all staff and students that help to put the JH and High School Awards nights together. Congrats to our Academic All State winners-Girls Track-Autumn Dickmander, Mariah Koenen; Boys Track-Ryan Cheleen, Ethan Reichman; Golf-Bree Johnson, Alexsa Guerra; Music-Savanna Wolford, and Britany Lofton.

Discussion:
Mr. Spencer’s Superintendent's report shared about the successful Kindergarten Round-up, Spring Music programs, MAC Meeting, Conference Golf Meet, DIBBLES testing, elementary field trips, Elementary Track and Field day, Recycling Challenge (over 1,700 lbs collected), Activities/Awards Nights, Graduation and upcoming events include the K-6 Annual Egg-Drop, State Track and updates to the district financial/payroll software. Mr. Spencer attended the NASB School Finance and Budget meeting. The ESSER II Grant Application is submitted. The Emergency Action Plan training is coming up in June with stipends for non-administrative persons who want to attend. Thank you to Mr. Ford for his years of service and best of luck on his new ventures.
